I also read “Hansel & Gretel” today. I like story of Hansel & Gretel So I chose this book.Hansel and Gretel has their father and stepmother. They were poor so stepmother thought that they will leave Hansel and Gretel into the forest. That night, Hansel collected as many as he could and stuffed white pebbles into his pockets. Next morning, they were taken somewhere and left there by their stepmother and father. But Hansel dropped pebbles, one by one, behind him so they could go back home. Another day, they were taken somewhere and left there by their stepmother and father again. This time, Hansel dropped piece of bread. But the bread was eaten by blackbird so they could not go back home. They walked in the forest. Then, they found a little house which made of sweets. A witch was living there and she tried to eat them. But Hansel and Gretel escaped by their wisdom. And they live happy with their father since that.
I read this book and I think Hansel has good wisdom. And I felt that family affection is important.
