job!!

I am going to write about my job now.

First, I talk about my part-time job. I worked at Sobano in youmetown Hikarinomori. Sobano is specialty soba restaurant. I have worked there when I entered KGU. The reason why I chose there is that my high school’s senior invited me and Sobano’s uniform is unusual.
Sobano’s uniform is like a Japanese kimono. I am ashamed when I am wearing it but I like it. I usually work 4 days a week. I almost have classes until the fifth period and the club activity, so I don’t have enough time to work now.

Next, I talk about my future job. I want to be a cabin attendant or a grand staff. I dreamed of being it since I was a child. I especially want to be an ANA’s cabin attendant. When it says why ANA is good for me, the reason is because a uniform is pretty. This is the ANA’s uniform. It is cool and pretty, isn’t it?? In addition, the reason is because I sympathized with management policies of ANA. I go to Washington institute of language now to grant this dream. It is hard to be compatible with KGU. But I do my best to become a cabin attendant.

International Cooktail Party

My name is Ann. I am from Canada of North America. I am 24 years old. My occupation is TV announcer and I am working at a local TV station. I appear on morning and evening news every day. I like sweets, so I try out the sweets at one on my free time. I am grad to offer the TV programs of sweets. I hate birds, because a bird attacked me when I was a child. I especially hate chicken but I like to eat chicken.

Four restaurants!!

I watched a restaurant video in YouTube. I will introduce about four restaurants.

First restaurant is Mario Brothers’ Pizza and Pasta. It is Italian restaurant and the menu is delicious. For example, Pasta likes an Italian mama’s taste. Then too large pizza; tomato, cheese and sausage pizza is 50 dollars. Lunch buffet is also smile price, only 10 dollars. In addition, the restaurant is very near by new street. It takes only three minutes on foot from new street. I like Pizza and Pasta, so I want to go the restaurant.

Second restaurant is Japanese restaurant, and it name is Miyazu. Sushi, Okonomiyaki, Yakiniku and Sukiyaki is famous menu in the restaurant. Japanese food is healthy and low calorie. And the restaurant stands in downtown, so we can go there easily. I think the restaurant please women, because most women like healthy menu.

Third restaurant’s name is Pico de Gallo and it is Mexican restaurant. This restaurant has 20 mexican foods, For example, handmade tortilla chips, shrimp tacos and fried ice cream. I have never eaten these before, so I want to eat it. Then there are International beer and wine and we can enjoy music and view. In a nice thing, there is a lot of parking near by street. Also it takes 20 minutes from outside of town to the restaurant.

Fourth restaurant is Chinese restaurant. It name is Mandarin Palace and takes 10 minutes by car. Mandarin ducks is one of the famous menu in the restaurant. Waiter’s costume is characteristic, so it is notable point. This restaurant is the richest restaurant of the four restaurants. I think that all of foods are very luxury for me, so I want to go this kind of restaurant once in my life.

Disagree with the other group's idea

I discussed with a Manami, Chisako and Kana on December 14. Their group having an idea that KGU should improve student cafeteria because a lot of KGU students want to improve cafeteria. Also they thought to increase volumy menu; like a hamburger don and hamburger set for boy students. In addition, their idea is increasing healthy menu for girl students. For example, a fish set meal and Tofu hamburger set meal and so on. Then, they insisted that many students want KGU student cafeteria to low the price of menu because the popular menu's price is little expensive for student.

I thought KGU should improve student cafeteria and low the price of menu is good idea, but KGU doesn’t need increase volumy menu and healthy menu. I am always on diet, so I want to eat healthy menu. However I disagreed with their opinion. The reason, KGU students can buy salad in Lowson if they want to eat healthy menu. I think that volumy menu is also that. What is more, it cost a lot to increase menu. Then, we enjoy eating at school cafeteria of the present yet. I think that making car parking in KGU is important better than improve student cafeteria.

Our group's project in Speaking class

I’ll report you our interview about car parking in KGU. We asked 50 people of KGU students. We could hear various opinion to them.

In our survey, 6 of them come to KGU by car and a lot of people using buses, JR, motorcycle. About 100% people think that we should have parking at KGU. So, we ask them “Car parking, bike parking or bicycle parking, Which of these do you think we should have here? 39 people answered that we should car parking here. I want to come to KGU by car if these are car parking, 35 people of them said. I surprised this result.

Most people think new parking want near the building of 12, the building of 14 or the students’ hall. About 80% people of them like parking style. Then we think new building build for parking. And we don’t need wide space for parking.

We also ask about pay for using the parking. People who come to KGU by car now pay from about 6000 yen to 7000 yen now. However, most people’s ideal is from 5000 yen to 6000 yen and a lot of people want to pay monthly.

On December 14, we had a Major Discussion Presentation. We insisted that we need car parking in KGU. Few people come to KGU by car and a lot of people using various facilities for travel now. But, in our survey, over 95% of people want to come by car if KGU has parking. So, I think KGU needs car parking. Shiori and Yui agree with my opinion.

However, Kana disagreed with us because Kana think that KGU has no space for build car parking. Shiori said “Making plane parking needs a large space. I think a sky parking is suitable because it needs less space than plane parking.” Manami said “it is good idea but how much does it cost?” Yui answered “I guess it costs a huge sum of money. However KGU has a lot of money because we pay school fee. And we will pay some money when we use it.” Chisako asked me that “How much will user have to pay for sky parking?” I said “In our survey, many people will be able to pay among 5000 yen to 6000 yen. I think we should lay down parking charge under 6000 yen.”

Due to the survey and discussion, I double-check that KGU needs car parking and making the car parking is possible. I think it may be more comfortable our campus life.

I think skydiving is more dangerous than bungee jumping because we have to open parachutes by ourselves in the sky. We saw some people who dead in parachute accident. On the other hand, we are tied to lifelines and it is difficult to snap when we try bungee jumping. For the reasons I think Skydiving is more dangerous.

I think winter sports is better sports because we can play with snow. In addition, we have to do summer sports under fine weather. I think we may be heatstroke possibly. So I thinkWinter sports is better than summer sports.

I will introduce my friend, Shiori Kita. When we entered KGU, we met each other. I talk about her family, pets, hobbies, favorite music, favorite sports and her part-time job.

Let me tell you about her family. She has 4 people in her family. Her father, Noriyuki is kind to her. When they go shopping, he bought a juice for her. Her mother’s name is Kazuyo. She is a hairdresser, so she has shiori’s hair cut. Her brother, Hayato is a junior high school student but he does not study. So shiori worries about him.

She has three cats. Their name is haru, Taku and Ma-chan. Haru is vicious but it fawn when it wants get something. Taku is active and ma-chan is Taku’s younger brother. She also has a dog. It names is Chiro. It is shibakenn but does not look so.

Next, I tell you about her hobbies. One of her hobby is reading comic books. Recently, she reads “Meitantei Konann”. She likes Konann very much. Watching DVDs is also her hobbies. Her faqvorite DVD is “Cinderella story”. It is love story and she recommends us to watch it. Then, she likes to sing. Karaoke is also her hobby. But she has enough time to go karaoke so she wants to go karaoke now.

Her favorite music is Japanese pop music. She always listen to music when she drives car. She especially likes Kumi Koda, Ayumi Hamasaki, HY, EXILE and JUDY&MARY. She listen to “classic” it sung by JUDY&MARY recently. When she goes to karaoke, she sings “Moonlight Densetu” at first. She sings it very well.

Let me tell you about her favorite sports. She likes playing volleyball. She belonged to volleyball club when she was an elementary and junior high school student. She was a good volleyball player. She also likes watching Karate. When she went to Kamoto high school, she managed Karate club. Then, she likes soccer, she can not play soccer but she sometimes watch soccer games. She thinks soccer players are so cool!!

Finally, I tell you about her part-time job. She works at Tsutaya in Kikuchi. She started work at there one year ago. She always lend CDs and DVDs. She is working 15 days a month. She enjoys her part-time job.

I introduce one of my friends, Shiori. She is Kumamoto Gakuen University student. When we entered this university, we met each other.

I have two cousins. Now, I introduce one of my cousins. Her name is Arisa and she is ten years old. She goes to Yuge elementary school that I went until seven years ago.

Her appearance is cute and small. And she has black and short hair. She is always wearing grasses.

Her personality is ironside. She practices swimming, gymnastic, and marathon hard, so she is good at sports. She won first prize in a marathon meeting many times. She is the pride and joy of me. And she is funny and talkative. So she often tells jokes and makes me laugh.
