☆Devloping Language Awareness
I could develop my English skill in Writing III class. I did not write blog in English and book reviews before. I wrote essays, diary and book reviews in my blog, so I could know a lot of idiom, words that I did not know before.In addition, I improved my typing skill because I did my typing homework. I could type in English early through the typing homework. However, I typed after I thought and wrote sentences at first. So I want to be typing as think and write sentences next semester.

☆Facing Technological Challenges
It is helpful for us to use computers. For example, we use a cellular phone when I want to contact with our family and friends.I think that we cannot live without computer now. Technological challenges are developing quickly, so we have to react the development.

☆Achieving Personal Satisfaction
I have been wanted to improve my English speaking skill for a long time, so I entered KGU and majoring English. I do a lot of assignments for achieve the personal satisfaction.I think that we should get over our difficulties for achieve our personal satisfaction. So I feel that I get over my assignments!!

I am getting up at 7:00 AM everyday. I always wash my face at first. Next I brush my teeth and make up. After that, I change my dress. Then I eat breakfast and go home.

I am always going to bed at 1:00AM. I ready for next day and do exercise before go to bed. I think that I go on doing exercise from now on.

My blood type is B. People always say “B type is selfish and stubborn!” I think B type is selfish, my pace, dreamer, tender, emotional and cheerful. My friends, Yurina and Risa are also B type. Yurina think B type is selfish, clearly that like or hate egocentric, spirited, cheerful, stubborn, positive to thinking something. Risa think B type is selfish, creative, imaginative, tend to be interested is various things but burn out soon. I think so too. People tend to hate B type but B type has good points.

My horoscope sign is Cancer. Cancer is tender, loving and kind, and also we have a lot of sympathy for people who are having problems. This makes very emotional. We will gladly give up something we love for the someone we love. We like home life and we prefer a quiet night at home a party. This rule is apply to me, so I think so too. I believe in it!!

My birthday!!

Today was my 20^th birthday!! I have been wanted to be 20 years old earlier.

My friends send an e-mail of congratulation on my birthday, so I am very happy!!

Then, my boyfriend gave me presents. One of the presents is an Annindoufu. He thought that he gave me a cake but I tend to be fat. So he gave an Annindoufu(‥；) Another is a wallet. This picture is the present. I have been wanted that for a long time so I am pleased very much. I think that I cherish it.

My parents and a brother are also celebrated. We went to dinner tonight. And they presented to me a cake. It was cute and delicious.

I was celebrated by a lot of people. I have never been happier. I thank my parents to bore me and bring me up. I think that I behave more maturely and spend a happy life!!

Fukuoka Softbank Hawks

I watched the baseball game “Fukuoka Softbank Hawks vs Tohoku Rakuten Eagles” yesterday. I was looking forward to watch the game.

In the morning, my friend and I took the limited express from Kumamoto station to Hakata station. After we have arrived Hakata station, we left there for Fukuoka Yahoo Dome. There were many people. We bought a lot of Hawks’s goods and wore matching Hawks’s shirt.

The game started at 13:00. My favorite player, Kawasaki was so cool.

Essay 1-03b Lilo and Stitch

When I watched a movie, ”Lilo and Stitch”, I learned two importance things. One is about family relationship. And the other is about cultural traditions. I think these are very important things for us.

First, I will write about family relationship. In this movie, Lilo lives with her older sister, because her parents died in a traffic accident. Only two live in a house but a public officer tries to separate them. The reason is Lilo's sister does not have power to bring Lilo up. Certainly, their life is hard, but they are good sisters. Lilo’s sister strives to live with Lilo, so I think that Lilo's sister has family affection. As Lilo tells Stitch “Ohana is Important and never left behind.” “Ohana means family.” Lilo thinks that Stitch is a member of her family and Stitch also thinks so too. I think they have family relationship with each other.

I live with my family, so I could not notice valuable of my family until now. When I watched this movie, I could notice it. In my real life, I have a brother. I think if my parents died like Lilo’s parents, I will be able to strive to live with my brother like Lilo’s sister. And my parents and I are often quarreling but I like my parents.

Recently, I think increasing murder case of some people killed by their family member in Japan. For example, parents killed by their children. It is very sad things. Why does people killed each other in the family? I think that if all people have family affection like Lilo and Stitch decrease like this murder case.

Next is cultural tradition. We have a lot of cultures in our life. In this movie, I learned about Hawaii's cultural tradition. Hawaii's culture is dancing hula, Hawaiian music, etc. I am interested in these. I think that Hawaiian is proud of Hawaiian cultures.

Although Almost Hawaiians are proud of their cultural tradition, I can not say that I am proud of Japanese culture. However, we have good culture in Japan. For example, there is Otemoyan dancing in the summer festival in Kumamoto. And ennka have been to sing for a long time. We can hardly see these cultural tradition any other country. So we have to treasure of our culture.

”Lilo and Stitch” teach a lot of important things. In this movie, even children can understand the family relationship and the cultural tradition. So a lot of people watch this movie all over the world. Both family affection and traditional cultures are very important to live. So we have to treasure them.

Munenori Kawasaki

I like “Softbank Hawks”. It is a Japanese baseball team. My favorite player who belong the team is Munenori Kawasaki. He likes baseball very much and plays baseball tooth and nail. So I like him. Today, I am going to watch the baseball game in Fukuoka. I am looking forward to see him!!

BR 1-14 Little Red Riding Hood

I read “Little Red Riding Hood” today. I know this Japanese book and I want read this English book. So I decided to read it.

This story has a little red Riding Hood, her grand mother, a wolf and a woodcutter. One day, a little red Riding Hood was going to take a pot of vegetable soup, but wolf aim at her. The wolf went her grand mother’s house and ate her grand mother before she comes. And the wolf disguised her grand mother. When she arrived there, she thought strange her grand mother so she asked some question. Finally, she asked “What big sharp teeth you have.” Then a wolf ate her. A woodcutter thought strange there because a wolf’s snore was loudly. He snipped open the wolf’s tummy. Then, a little red Riding Hood and her mother popped out. The woodcutter put a lot of stone in the wolf’s tummy. After that, everyone can here the wolf coming, because the rattled inside him!

I think that this book is different from Japanese “Little Red Riding Hood”, “Akazukin”. The wolf dropped down the pond in “Akazukin”. I think it is interesting to different this way.

BR 1-13 The ENORMOUS TURNIP

I read “The ENORMOUS TURNIP” today. I liked this book, when I was child. I want to read again, so I chose it.

This story has a farmer, his wife, their son, a dog, a cat, a bird, and an enormous turnip. One day, the farmer went his field to picking a turnip. He saw a big turnip, so he thought that he pick this one. He tugged at the turnip, but it did not move. So his wife helped. But it did not move. After that, his children, a dog and a cat helped the farmer and his wife, but it did not move. Next, a bird helped them and the turnip began to move very slowly. At last, the turnip popped out!! They ate the turnip soup every day for a month.

This book is very interesting to me because the farmer said “Next year, I’m growing carrots”. We think an enormous vegetable is good, but it is not so good for the people who eating the enormous vegetable.

Essay 1-02b University life

Most university students spend a good life. However, nobody has the same life. So I will write about university life from three perspectives. The perspectives are ways of coming to school, places to eating lunch, and majoring subjects. I thought these differences are large, so I decided to these perspectives.

First, I will write about the way students get to school. University students are coming university from every areas. I live near Hikarinomori. So I usually get to school by train and on foot. I get on a train at Hikarinomori station, and get off at Suizenji station. Then I walk to KGU from Suizenji station. Sometimes, I get to school by car. Many KGU students come by car, because they live far from KGU, and there are no stations in their towns. So, the only way for them to come. Most students who live near KGU come to school on foot or by bicycle. They may not be bind to time. Students who come to school by train and bus have to decide by time of arrival, so I envy whome.

Next, I write about places to lunch. Lunch also has the difference considerably each student. I usually bring a box lunch which my mother is made, but I sometimes eat lunch in the students’ cafeteria or the bakery. Many people eat lunch there, because it is cheap and delicious. Other people buy readied meals at the convenience store, because it is little cheaper. So I almost never eat it.

Finally, I write about majoring subject. KGU have many departments. For example, KGU have the department of economy and commercial science. And, they majoring each subject. I am majoring the English. I am belonging to the department of foreign language. I study English and about foreign countries every day, but I sometimes take same class with the department of East Asia. Students who are belonging to the department of East Asia are not majoring English. They study Chinese and Korean. Even going to the same university, students are studying different subjects.

Lots of students have a good life own university life. I think that university life is important for us, because we can experience a lot of thing. For example, we can make good friends, study field which is students want to study deeply. University life is different from other students as to how to enjoy. So I think we should enjoy our university life by each way.

BR 1-12 Hansel & Gretel

I also read “Hansel & Gretel” today. I like story of Hansel & Gretel So I chose this book.

Hansel and Gretel has their father and stepmother. They were poor so stepmother thought that they will leave Hansel and Gretel into the forest. That night, Hansel collected as many as he could and stuffed white pebbles into his pockets. Next morning, they were taken somewhere and left there by their stepmother and father. But Hansel dropped pebbles, one by one, behind him so they could go back home. Another day, they were taken somewhere and left there by their stepmother and father again. This time, Hansel dropped piece of bread. But the bread was eaten by blackbird so they could not go back home. They walked in the forest. Then, they found a little house which made of sweets. A witch was living there and she tried to eat them. But Hansel and Gretel escaped by their wisdom. And they live happy with their father since that.

I read this book and I think Hansel has good wisdom. And I felt that family affection is important.

BR 1-11 Losing Lucky

I read “Losing Lucky” today. I like rabbits and I think a boy who is main character in this book looks sad. So I chose this book.

This story is a boy, Mouse and a bunny, Lucky. Lucky came hopping up to see Mouse every day. But one day, Lucky just lay in his hutch. Lucky has died. Mouse could not believe it. Mouse, Jojo and their mother put Lucky in the box. And Mouse put all the things Lucky liked in the box. Then, their father dug a hole in the garden and they put Lucky in the hole. They were loosing Lucky so they were crying. That night, Mouse had a dream of Lucky. In the dream, Lucky could talk and hopped up into the sky. So he felt happy.

All living thing die some day. I read this book and I think we have to cherish all living thing.
